Anthea Hall
Anthea Hall offers a therapeutic approach that is curious, thoughtful, and respectful. She is trained in Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, a trauma-informed talk therapy that supports children and adolescents to understand and process their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
This work involves recognising emotions, patterns of behaviour, relational dynamics and past experiences that may be contributing to distress. Anthea helps young people make sense of the underlying roots of their difficulties, supporting the development of self-awareness and self-regulation.
With children, Anthea can assist with concerns such as anxiety, inattention, nightmares, wetting and soiling, tantrums, anger outbursts, separation anxiety, and attachment-related difficulties. With adolescents, she works with challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, PTSD, CPTSD, OCD, ADHD and experiences of abuse.
Anthea is experienced in working with neurodiversity and aims to create a safe, supportive and attuned therapeutic space where young people can express themselves in ways that feel right for them. Her goal is to help clients process their emotions in a way that feels safe, natural and meaningful, while tailoring therapy to support their social, emotional and psychological wellbeing and growth.
