
Phillippa Walker
Phillippa is a child and educational psychologist and a teacher who is registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board and a member of the New Zealand Psychological Society.
Phillippa has strong child advocacy skills, and she views childhood difficulties through the lens of a holistic, neurodivergent affirming and child-centred approach.
Phillippa can make sense of complicated situations that children can experience throughout their development, which leads to support that is directly tailored to the child’s individual needs.
Phillippa completed a Diploma of Teaching and a Bachelor of Education (majoring in Education and Psychology) at the University of Auckland. She completed a Post Graduate Diploma Education – Special Education, Masters of Educational Psychology (Hons) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Psychology (MedPsych, PGDip) at Massey University.
Phillippa is trained in sand tray therapy, play therapy and EMDR.
